Shop For a Cause

Lancaster Kennel Club members are active with the Park City Center's "Shop for a Cause" event.

Congratulations to Deb Eckert and her Team, for winning 2nd Place in the April 27, 2013 event. Great Job !!

And at the Annual Award Banquet, the Club presented Al and Patti Means of Red Rose Search and Rescue with the 2nd place amount.

For those who are not familiar with the event, it is a "Non-Profit Spring Sharing Affair." By taking part in this one day event, organizations like ours display literature, and help educate our local communities with face to face contact and in our case, through meeting our dogs that we bring to the event.

In addition, Park City will continue the contest component again this year. Please tell your friends or family members who may be shopping there anyhow, to hold on to their sales receipts, as that is how the winners are determined. Customers are encouraged to bring all your receipts from this day (April 27th), to guest services in Center Court (make sure you tell them it's for the Lancaster Kennel Club). For every dollar you spend, you can award one point to the organization of your choice (Hopefully the LKC). Prizes (in amounts ranging from $600.00 - $3,000.00) are awarded to the top 10 participating organizations so it's an opportunity for you to help us do all the good things that we do.
