Many pure-bred dogs are known to have problems with their eye health. Diseases with strange sounding names like persistent papillary membrane, collie eye anomaly and progressive retinal atrophy are known to affect certain breeds.
Each year the Lancaster Kennel Club sponsors an eye examination clinic to help educate dog owners and handlers and to screen dogs for poor eye health. This year our annual eye examination clinic will be on November 22, 2008.
